Cameron Kelly
Cameron Kelly enjoys providing personalized estate planning for families in Minnesota and Wisconsin. His practice includes assisting clients with comprehensive estate planning including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and living wills. He also has a special interest in the estate, gift, income taxation of estates and trusts, and charitable planning.
Cameron serves in multiple capacities on the Probate & Trust Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is currently the treasure of the Section Council, a past co-chair of the Section’s Legislative Committee and past chair of the Section’s Technology Committee. As part of his work with the Probate & Trust Section he has testified before committees in the Minnesota House of Representatives and Senate in February of 2026 on the Uniform Electronic Estate Planning Documents Act, which passed and became law on August 1, 2026, and before the House Judiciary Finance/Civil Law Committee on the Electronic Wills Act in January 2023, which passed and became law on August 1, 2023.
Cameron is a member of the American College of Trust and Estates Attorneys (“ACTEC”). ACTEC’s peer-elected Fellows are at the top of their profession, committed to maintaining excellence in the trust and estate legal field and to continually improving the practice of trust and estate law. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education events on estate planning, trusts, and tax planning.
Residing his entire life in Minnesota, Cameron lives with his wife, daughter, and two sons in Stillwater, Minnesota. He is active in the Stillwater and surrounding communities, including serving as a board member on the St. Croix Valley Foundation, providing legal services to cancer patients through Cancer Legal Care and, receiving their Volunteer Attorney of the Year award in 2015 and is a past member of the City of Stillwater Planning Commission.
Cameron has been designated as a Minnesota Super Lawyer since 2019 and as a Rising Star by Minnesota Super Lawyers from 2013 to 2017.
